How does silt fencing work?

Our machine cuts the fence fabric deep into the ground with little disruption to the soil. Our silt fence plow is so accurate that we can position fencing directly on your property line for maximum erosion control. We then compact the soil around the fence with the tractor, anchoring the fabric deep into the ground.

We support the fabric by installing heavy duty steel T-posts every 5 to 8 feet. The fabric is then attached to each post with UV-rated outdoor cable ties. The final product is very durable and will continue to prevent erosion even under harsh conditions and heavy rain. Visit our services page to learn more!
